About Bell Tower Construction
David Carmona established the business that would become NORTEK Construction in September of 1985 in Rochester, NY. With hands-on experience in foundation work, concrete and masonry, this, his first business, grew to include all facets of residential and commercial construction including retail, heavy and light commercial and residential custom home building. In 1997, David "set up shop" in North Carolina, first running hands-on, high-end commercial projects on numerous First Union Banks and Smith Barney locations in NC, SC, GA and VA, and then as NORTEK Construction, Inc.
We are a state licensed company, fully bonded and insured. We are experts in high-end Commercial, Medical and Residential Construction, renovation and upfit projects. We also have our own custom millwork shop located in Concord, NC where we can take care of specialty items within tight time frames. Our staff includes personnel who have been with us for more than 20 years. Every member of our team is well-versed in all of the construction trades and they all undergo training in proper installation procedures, life-safety, and infection control protocol. We have built a reputation as a leader in quality craftsmanship and top-level service.

When Dave established his new company in his new home (the Carolinas), he wanted to build a business that could take on anything, and Dave wanted a name that sounded like it could (and we have). Dave Carmona — along with his son, Philip, his wife and daughters, as well as a team of gifted craftsmen — have tackled very challenging projects. These have included a vast array of residential renovations, additions and remodels, as well as everything from hospital operating rooms, recovery units and emergency unit renovations. Many years, many customers and many projects later, a few things have not changed at all. Whether you call him "Dave", Nortek", or even "Dave Nortek," Dave Carmona's values have not changed regardless of the types of projects we may be involved in or the state of the economy. Dave Carmona and Nortek Construction Inc. is still a family business. What is important to us is integrity and dealing with all of our clients the way everyone should be treated — with respect and the highest degree of service.
